Taiwan uses the international Nice Classification. Classes 1–34 cover goods and classes 35–45 cover services.

Class headings are a starting point
A class heading does not replace a properly drafted list of goods or services. Taiwan-specific accepted terminology and current official classification resources should be checked when preparing an application.
Coordinate classification with clearance
A useful search considers relevant goods or services and market relationships, not only identical class numbers.
